Researching Cities

Learn details about cities and decide which is best for you. Check these links out.

CareerSearch--A great way to research metropolitan areas with information about demographics, industry, crime, cost of living, entertainment, and education, etc.

Home Store--If you're looking to see what apartments cost in various cities, check this site out. It used to be RentNet, but changed recently.

Relocation Salary Calculator--Use the Calculator to figure out how much you need to earn in New York (or any other city) in order to have the same standard of living as you have in Minneapolis (or any other city). Also part of Home Store.

Weather.com--The Weather Channel's site can give you annual averages or month-by-month reports for cities to help you decide where you want to live.

Virtual Relocation--They will help you plan for your big move including info on cost of living, rentals, moving companies, etc.
