Working Abroad

If you want to go abroad, and maybe make a little money, we can help you find an internship, a summer job, or a full-time job in another country.

Below are links sorted by continent, as well as general links. Have fun browsing. Also, be sure to check in at the Career Center and ask about any recent job postings or internships that have come in with an international focus.

General Links

WebExchange-This site is maintained by a number of liberal arts colleges with links designed especially for liberal arts students in a variety of different fields. Look for the links on International Business, International Employment, and Teaching Overseas.

Internship Database--Our database has a large number of jobs overseas. Search for internships in categories like: International Business, International Teaching, Foreign Service, International Government, and International Voluntary Service.

Jobsabroad.com--You will find jobs posted here for many countries, all the way from England to Russia to Yemen. This site is geared more toward those who can work abroad for longer than a summer (ie-those graduating) although there are internships posted. For internships check out their sister site, internabroad.com.

The Foreign Service--Learn how to become a Foreign Service Officer for the State Department and what a FSO is and does. Read up on requirements, and take a look at jobs currently available.

Peace Corps--They can take you pretty much anywhere in the world.
