UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER BASIN ASSOCIATION,

GIS and Planning Assistant
The Upper Mississippi River Basin Association will be hiring a GIS/planning
assistant in the near future to provide support for a continuing oil
spills contingency planning and mapping effort. This initiative involves
a number of agencies at all levels of government and is funded primarily
through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The assistant will
compile, refine, and map data on selected environmental, economic, and
cultural resources and hazardous materials storage and transportation
systems within targeted mapping areas, using a variety of techniques.
The assistant will also participate in production of atlases for distribution
