Wireless Access Points
ITS maintains a number of access points where members of the Carleton community can use our network over a wireless connection.

Map Notes:

Coverage areas indicated are approximate — access will be the most dependable near the center of each region.

A valid Carleton network account is required for use of these access points: if you attempt to connect with a computer that has not previously been used on our network, you will have to supply your netid and password to gain access. Open your web browser and request a web page to start the registration process.

CMC: The access point serves all of the first floor lab wing; access on upper floors is not to be counted on.

Language and Dining Center: Coverage includes all of the dining area, and may be available in some areas on the second floor.

Library: The Library is served by multiple access points, on the fourth, third, and second floors. Due to interference from the metal shelving, you may encounter weak signal areas throughout the building; changing your location slightly will usually resolve the problem. The first floor is not served by an access point, at the request of the Library, to help preserve the quiet atmosphere.

Goodhue Super Lounge: Planned location; will be activated in the near future.
